Hunger Games Assessment #3 ticket

I chose to do a ticket to watch the Hunger Games for one of my assessments. I think that making a ticket would be cool to do even though they probably didn't have them there. My ticket has a fake map on where the arena is, it shows the time place and details It also shows that it is to watch the Hunger Games. I put where they would be seating as there would be something like that on a real ticket. I made it to be very colourful because that is representing the Capitols colourful ways.

Hunger Games Assessment #2 menu

I chose to do the Menu as 1 of my assessments because I really enjoyed reading what they had to eat in District 12, The Capitol and the Games. My menu shows the many different and interesting foods Katniss ate during The Hunger Games book. I put Breakfast, Entees (lunch and dinner) and desserts and drinks as my 3 categories to put my food under. In each categorie I showed a picture that describes the categorie.

I chose to do the fashion design because the design of her dress was very important to the story because the sparkles got the attention of many sponsors. Katniss also loved the clothes that Cinna made for her especially her interview dress which I chose to draw. Here is a picture of it,

2. The Luttrell Psalter is in the 1st source because it is an original document from that time period.

3. The Luttrel Psalter is so unique because it has a astonishing amount of detail and even humor and emotion of everyday life.

Health- Profiles

Profile L, We learn best through movement and by focusing on the whole picture. Profile L’s Need to move while processing internally. I need my own, quiet time alone, especially when I am getting new ideas under stress. When I am relaxed I may see, hear, and easily communicate the details and sequence of information, verbally and written. I enjoy metaphors and examples with associating problems. I prefer not to follow step by step instructions and use my own ideas. I usually tend to start with imagining the end product and then intuitively doing what seems appropriate. My movements are natural and fluid when I am relaxed, but when I am stressed I will move with caution and most likely feel clumsy. I have difficulty communicating, seeing, listening and remembering when under stress. I usually see the whole picture but I do not know how to break it down into small pieces. I basically can not do very much under stress and I am at great disadvantage.

Me, Taking a Stand

If I where to have been in their positions I would probably would have left to another country and inform others in the gruesome ways the Nazis where leading their country. Running away from the problem might not have worked though. Who knows what kind of things could happen to you in these foreign countries. What if the country you fled to was against people of Jewish beliefs? Than you would be in big trouble. I don't think that moving to a different country is the best situation, but I don't see another humane option.

Analyzing Photos- What I see

The Caption of the poster reads 'Healthy Parents have Healthy Children'

In the picture that we are given the colours are black, and white. You can tell the whole family has light hair, which I am assuming is blonde. It seems to be one big happy family. The kids are holding toys, and the boy is wearing some sort of uniform which he is holding. The baby's hand is reaching out towards you and the other girls hand is waving. I have one guess which is, they are trying to promote that all people who are Christian are healthy and happy. Regarding the caption to the poster, 'Healthy Parents have Healthy Children'. This Caption could mean that if you are a Jew than your unhealthy and so are your children.

Having only the caption of the poster and the picture that represents it I wouldn't have thought about all of that. I would have guessed it was and add for medicine or toothpaste, for example. The poster just shows a big happy and healthy German family smiling. This ad could refer to almost anything (toothpaste, medicine). My point is this isn't a very good poster, and I can't wait to find out what it's actually supposed to be advertising.

Otto Hauptmann

Otto Hauptmann works in a factory in Berlin. In 1923 he was not making so much money but the Union kept him employed. He thinks stabilizing will be the answer. In other factories Otto's friends work and they say that the older people are getting fired and the younger people are staying to work because they are more productive. Otto disagrees, saying the workers should take control of the factories and government. He thinks those jobs should be for the people who know what it is about.

I think that Otto Hauptmann would have voted for the Communist Party because the second platform rule is " The establishment of land reform programs, so that the government can take over the land and distribute it for common good." and in his little biography paper it said that stabilizing will be the answer. As rule 2 states the government will take all the land and share it evenly between everyone. This is why I think Otto Hauptmann voted for the Communist Party.

"Anger and Humiliation" and "The Voices in the Dark"

ANGER AND HUMILIATION

Adolf Hitler had a way of not excepting difference. He didn't not like foreign people such as jewish people. Hitler wanted everyone to be the exact same, Christian. He and his Nazi party made a program which people should follow. The 2 most unfair statements are chosen below.

*4 German blood as a requirement for German Citizenship. No Jew can be a member of the nation.

This is extremely unfair. Nobody should be judged upon their religion.

*8 No further immigration of non-Germans. Any non-Germans. Any non-German who entered Germany after August 2, 1914, shall leave immediately.

This is stupid and not right because everyone should have a chance. He is so bad because he is an immigrant from Austria and now he is stoping anyone from having a chance.

I also don't get this law because if no more immigrants can come in and the citizens aren't building their population he can't have number 3. Land and territory (colonies) for our surplus population.

Or otherwise i've got this terribly wrong.

THE VOICES IN THE DARK

If I was there at that time in history I would try not to get into it or at least not too much. I would have probably stood back and have an opinion to myself or try and contact other countries at the most. Nothing has happened to me personally because of my nationality or religion but my brother gets stopped every time for random security check because of his size.
